It was inevitable. The Kingdom of Banan has always been a popular place for honeymoons even. Especially lately, what with all those tourists in the boxed goods industry. That economy is booming. What better time to get married?
That’s a great idea. What could possibly go wrong? It’s not like the priest/registrar/whatever will have any objection whatsoever to marrying a brother and sister, or that being married in no way negates Grape’s threat to murder them if she catches them in the act (and arguably makes it worse, since she can then safely assume they’re “acting” whether she catches them or not). Plus, you know, telling your plan to the person who already ratted you out once isn’t questionable judgement at all.
A royal wedding is always a popular event, so having two royals in the same wedding should be twice as popular! Maybe Plum cares deeply about the PR benefits and is upset that eloping will avoid all the commemorative plates and commemorative T-shirts and commemorative fuzzy dice.
Well Plum, I would assume that they need your help in some way that will make you both very frustrated and uncomfortable.

Anyone else expecting a “can’t elope/cantelope” pun in the future?
I am now.
