Santa Clause became especially popular and well known in the 19th and 20th Centuries, and surprising as it may seem, a majority of that period began with Santa Clause stationed in Hong Kong. Siang Li is the 8th and last Santa to serve during that era, and she really shook things up.
Siang Li was the youngest Santa Clause ever, having been chosen for her skill and enthusiasm as an elf at the age of 11. She was known for her recklessness and unorthodox delivery methods, leading to many unexpected problems during her runs, but few she couldn’t overcome.
On her 18th birthday, Siang Li surprised everyone by announcing her retirement as Santa, claiming that she had more fun as an Elf than as Santa. Unable to choose a successor, elves around the world settled on a new Santa stationed in Canada, much to the dismay of many potential Chinese Santas. This next line of Santas actually continues into the present, so you can thank Siang Li for Fruit Incest’s own Sarah Clause ever becoming Santa.
I’ve been reading these and I just realised now that Christmas is actually coming soon.
Merry Christmas. Guess it’s time to begin the count down.
Sadly, I don’t have enough enthusiasm to cross out the dates on my calendar until Christmas though.
