Oh, Little Miss Tomato, how I love thee. Simple gags like this make me feel okay about making lazily put together panels. There’s almost nothing going on here, but this is one of the few moments where nothing is acceptable. We don’t need a big fancy background or highly detailed characters missing half their facial features. All we need is one big giant PIT in the ground and someone curious enough to jump in. Sometimes I wish all comics could be this simple instead of slaving several hours for some cream pies. Enjoy them while I’m still feeling not guilty for making something this plain. More cream then pie if you will.
