For “nonsense”, the spelling is baloney/boloney/balonie. Bologna only refers to the meat or the Italian city.

I did not know that. I always thought boloney was just an alternative spelling that later became acceptable. I learned something.
To be honest, I didn’t know it either until I did some research after reading the blurb and realizing that I didn’t spell the two meanings the same in my head. Baloney/boloney (but not balonie) are also alternate spellings for the meat, so you’re actually right about that. But baloney (nonsense) may not actually derive from bologna, depending on who you ask.
So now we both know something new. And knowing is half the battle!
