Fruit Incest: Despite everything, it’s still here.
I’m having a hard time balancing what is acceptable vocabulary in a children’s book without being too repetitive. Kids are dumb. Glad I never was one.
Green Eggs and Ham was written using only 50 distinct words, only one of which (“anywhere”) is more than one syllable.
And the book “Who Pooped?” only used 20 distinct words, though it was also both much shorter than “Green Eggs and Ham” and written for an even younger audience.
