Fruit people must have weird customs, being able to be named after a flavor. I’m sure Prince Apple will enjoy getting to taste himself though, as is customary tradition. He’s also not the only one celebrating a birthday soon, so happy times abound for that, right?

I am moderately confused. I though it was already night (it looked pretty dark out last comic). Does Pear, by “tonight”, mean the next night, so Orange has the golden apple for a whole day (good wine can’t be rushed), or is it not actually night, and Pear “borrowed” the apple in broad daylight (quite the bold fellow)?
