Look at all those background characters who probably wont get more than a single line this entire scene each. I’d love to show off the Elf Council more, and I had a lot of fun designing them, which makes their single panel appearances feel like a complete waste, so I might do a little extra thing for them later. For now though, their story purpose is minimal, but it sure builds tension when you see an entire room full of people staring at the current discussion unfolding, and holding martini glasses too! That’s the extra touch that makes this extra foreboding.
