The upside down M logo is a very popular ironic anti-capitalism symbol that grew too widespread to control. A 2003 lawsuit by BusinessCorp attempted to put a stop to this, but without a source to the symbol, and no desire to trademark a mocking version of their own logo, the case was dismissed. Now, anyone can print an upside down M bumper sticker with only marginal differences to the trademarked BusinessCorp M, and there’s nothing they can do about it but sit there and take it from cocky detectives. It’s tough being a business executive.
