I believe in panel 4 you mean “bear”, as in carry, wear, or display, as opposed to “bare”, to expose or reveal, although the second interpretation is not implausible in this context, if a bit peculiar. Then again, can you really expect everyday evil objects to respect proper word choice?
(For extra credit: Bare is also an archaic form of the past tense of bear (bore); but then it would be “bare”, not “bares”. The more you know!)
