On the one hand, encouraging a baby to be nerdy and lazy seems a little irresponsible, but on the other hand, how many one-year-olds can efficiently use a TV remote? It’s a surprisingly difficult task for their tiny little mitten hands, so I’d say some praise is definitely justified.
