I realized very quickly how boring and unoriginal it would be to just have one trainer poking fun at Pokemon game mechanics, so I decided early on to include another human character. I know I probably could’ve saved myself about 6 or so comics by cutting Lass out of the story, but I’d rather keep this than the other things I had to cut. I’ll try to make her worth the extra week we spent introducing her. Besides, it’s not Pokemon without any Shipping Fodder.
