I’ve said it multiple times but I had to really compress this whole story. Even at 16 parts it still feels like I didn’t have enough time to do everything I wanted. This fight was important so it has the least cuts, which makes me kind of feel bad for the Pokemon that didn’t get as much focus here. Say what you want about Mareep’s victory, I still think the others deserved as much time to show off, especially poor Flameingo, who doesn’t even show up in this section.
Of course, this sequence also made me realize that even if I had the time, my laziness would probably get in the way of things like it is now. I guess I should consider this a lesson. Next time I do a big adventure you can rest easy knowing all the badly drawn forests, mountains, and tripping scenes will include 50% more cream pies!
