To be honest, this scene was just something I came up for fun when I tried to think of explanations for potential plotholes such as “Where are Maggie’s parents during this whole arrested for Christmas terrorism thing?” or “What the hell was Simon doing during Silas’s term as Santa?” The Christmas arcs have been some of the trickiest since I left so much of it vague and unprepared back when I started off, but it’s since developed into a series of stories I feel are worth telling.
Basically, I’ve learned when to be vague and screw my audience out of much wanted answers and when not to.
