Green magic is synthetic magic formed by man-made chemical reactions and technology that channel Ether energy. This form of magic is more limited and is quite costly, but it also is not powered by your soul, so it’s very useful. It didn’t quite take off though, especially once naturally occurring yellow Ether energy was harnessed, but green gives you more control, and is also more festive.
As for the history portion of today’s lesson, I’m sure you all know about Sylvester, the Santa who founded the North Pole branch in Alaska. Met his wife under rather humorous, albeit poorly drawn, circumstances that would eventually lead to him wanting to work closer to her hometown. If you didn’t know this already, do not look it up, because I just told you. There is nothing to gain from older history lessons in this comic. Those didn’t even have extra colours.
