I’ve run out of colours, so I get to come up with more themes. It’s quite fun, but also a milestone for progress, forcing me to look at how much work I’ve gotten done this past month. Less than I’d hope, but better than none. Let’s keep it up.

My favorite point in the Fruit Incest manga is Volume 14, where Orange steals Apple’s mech to stop the inhabitants of the Negatree from feeding off the royal family’s sense of harmony and contentment. I’m re-reading the series now and it’s brilliant how every moment leads up to that decision.
Someone on Reddit claimed the obscure Western original didn’t introduce the Negatree until after the manga popularized it, but that’s absurd — how would the character of Plumchan even work without a dimensional Negavortex for her to channel? Some bozos will say anything on the internet for attention.
